🎓 Functional Skills, Life Skills & Employability – Delivered Your Way


At Kings Centre of Learning, we provide fully funded 1:1,  small groups education and skills support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, SEMH, or complex needs — online or on-site.

All sessions are delivered by our trained, CQC-compliant tutor workforce, many of whom have experience in supported housing and domiciliary care.

Functional Skills

Delivery 1:1 or small groups (eg 1:2 or 1:3)

Maths, English, and Digital Skills

- Online or on-site in supported housing
- Tailored to each learner’s pace and ability
- No cost to providers or learners
- Fully funded through AEB, Multiply, or EHCP pathways


Life Skills for Independent Living

- Budgeting, travel training, personal safety
- Digital basics and communication skills
- Delivered 1:1 or small groups by care-trained tutors

Employability Skills Programme

Confidence. Communication. Career-Ready.

A flexible, video-based online course for young adults aged 16–25 who are NEET, in Alternative Provision, or have mild/moderate SEND.

Learners gain:

  • Real interview practice (on video)
  • A CV and personalised cover letter
  • Self-employment insights
  • A digital Employability Passport
  • Delivered via our secure online platform, with personalised tutor feedback built in.

Pathway to Work: CV & Interview Skills 

A 6-week 1:1 or small groups coaching programme supporting adults with support needs to:

  • Build a simple CV
  • Practise mock interviews
  • Understand job adverts and employer expectations

Ideal follow-on for Functional Skills learners ready for work or volunteering
